Progressive Produce's wellness plan begins with activity monitoring

Progressive Produce Corp. was urged by its health insurer to implement a wellness program to reduce an increase in medical claims, so officials began requiring administrative staff to wear Jawbone UP wrist bands that measure steps and sleep habits. Company controller Jeannie Berger said already employees are moving more, with some parking farther down the parking lot so they log more steps to the building.
