Should PARCC offer Spanish-language assessments?

The League of United Latin American Citizens, a national advocacy group, is urging the Partnership for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers to develop Spanish-language Common Core State Standards assessments for math and language arts. The consortium is one of two groups developing common core assessments, and both have said the issue is going to be a difficult one to address, especially because some member states have their own policies about testing students in their native languages.
