Weak job creation leaves Fed's monetary policy in doubt

U.S. employers hired 162,000 workers last month, according to the government, leaving analysts wondering when the Federal Reserve might decide the economy is in good enough shape to phase out bond buying. The unemployment rate declined to 7.4% in July, from 7.6% in June, partly because of people leaving the workforce.
