Canadian beef still not allowed in U.S.

After a single cow was diagnosed with BSE in Alberta, Canada, three months ago, the cattle and beef trade between the U.S. and Canada quickly was stopped. Now, after many false reports, the border remains closed to Canadian beef, and many industry experts say it may stay like this for a while, mostly due to demands Japan has made concerning its beef trade with the U.S.
