Patients report addiction to SRI antidepressants

Many patients are reporting extreme reactions when they cease taking certain antidepressants, leading some doctors to quit prescribing at least two of the best-sellers, Paxil and Effexor. Some patients have reported an inability to quit serotonin reuptake inhibitors because of the symptoms they face, and they anticipate having to take them for the rest of their lives.
