Broccoli may protect diabetics from heart problems

Eating broccoli can help reverse damage to heart blood vessels caused by diabetes. A new study found that sulforaphane, a compound in the vegetable, helps protect the vessels and could ultimately reduce the risk of diabetics suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
