Clark Hunt wins $556M contract for San Antonio medical center

The Army Corps of Engineers has awarded Clark Hunt Construction, of Tampa, Fla., a $556 million contract to renovate and expand Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. The contract is the single largest in the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission process at Fort Sam Houston. It will involve adding 760,000 square feet of new space to the hospital and a 5,000-space parking garage and central energy plant.
