CLOs avoid losses from corporate defaults, Moody's says

Investment-grade collateralized loan obligations are secure and well-positioned to avoid losses under corporate defaults, a study by Moody's found. The funds have performed better than corporate debt historically, Moody's said. Analysts at JPMorgan Chase said U.S. CLOs had lower loss rates than even the market for loans.
