McCain should show leadership on disability issues

Rather than acknowledging his own disabilities resulting from his heroic war injuries, Republican presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain seems too concerned about appearing weak, writes retired elementary school principal and disabilities advocate Mary Lynne Kelley, who has multiple sclerosis. McCain "is poised to let down those Americans who face their own every day with bravery and dignity," she writes.
