Concrete arch bridge to support highway near Hoover Dam

The Colorado River Bridge will tower 900 feet above ground in the shadow of Hoover Dam when completed next year. One of the largest concrete arch bridges in the world, it will support a four-lane highway between Phoenix and Las Vegas. The highway will replace the narrow road over Hoover Dam, which was originally built as a construction access road.
