EBay evolves to appeal more to sellers of fixed-price goods

When John Donahoe succeeded Meg Whitman as CEO at eBay, the senior management vowed to cater more to major sellers of fixed-price products and streamline its marketplace. The company's efforts are starting to pay off and deliver results, according to this article. More than half of the company's sales in the marketplace segment are now from fixed-price merchandise rather than auctioned goods.
