Fla. health IT experts map out plans for stimulus money

More than 50 health care IT experts from Central Florida are working together to map out strategies for spending $30 billion in health care and broadband technology funds from the federal stimulus bill. Many health care facilities in the area have already begun to switch to electronic medical records, and some local leaders want to use the funds to encourage and extend electronic record sharing.
