Fla. school district brings parents in on special-education training

Special educators and parents in Sarasota, Fla., are attending a two-week training session to help teachers learn about and improve techniques for educating students with special needs. One mother of a student with special needs said the training unravels the mystery of what her son does at school. "From a parent's perspective, this kind of communication is so important," she said.
