Irish airport opens pre-screening facilities for U.S.-bound flights

U.S. Ambassador Dan Rooney was on hand Wednesday as Shannon Airport in Ireland inaugurated a pre-screening facility that will allow U.S.-bound passengers to be treated as domestic arrivals, with no further customs or security clearance. Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines and US Airways will be the first to take advantage of the new facilities.
