NetJets CEO Santulli unexpectedly resigns

NetJets Inc. Chairman and CEO Richard Santulli made the surprise announcement this week that he is stepping down from his position with the business jet company, effective immediately. The former Goldman Sachs wunderkind said in a statement he was resigning to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests, but some attribute his departure to internal clashes among NetJet owner Berkshire Hathaway's senior management. Berkshire Chairman Warren Buffett appointed David Sokol, head of Berkshire unit MidAmerican Energy Holdings, as NetJets chairman and interim CEO.
