Scandal fuels attacks in New Jersey governor's race

Christopher J. Christie, the Republican nominee for governor of New Jersey, said Gov. Jon S. Corzine failed to reform "the broken state we are all living in." Meanwhile, Corzine television ads implied Christie had bought his job as U.S. attorney for New Jersey with $350,000 in donations to former President George W. Bush. Accusations of wrongdoing by both sides come after last month's arrest of 44 people charged in a federal bribery sting.
