Teacher uses technology from teens' lives to teach math

Drawing on experience in telecommunications and journalism, an Oklahoma City math teacher is using real-world scenarios and technology to teach ninth-graders math concepts. In one project, Telannia Norfar had students use algebra to create equations analyzing local cell phone plans and then put together an electronic presentations comparing them.
