Concentrates maker touts new customer-solutions R&D site in N.C.

Plastics Color, a producer of color and additive concentrates, has unveiled a new research-and-development facility at its Asheboro, N.C. plant. The site houses a fully equipped customer-solutions center that provides "new product development and testing services that we couldn't offer at this time last year," a company official said. The firm also plans to open a concentrates plant in Sun Valley, Calif., by the end of 2010.
