Regulators warn consumers about investment scams

Investment scams feed off a recession, as investors are grasping for something to cut their losses. In an effort to warn the public, the North American Securities Administrators Association released its annual list of Top 10 Investor Traps, which includes green schemes, affinity fraud and "off the books" deals. "It's pretty bad out there," said Texas Securities Commissioner Denise Voigt Crawford.
