Beckman acquires Indian firm's flow cytometry business

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences has agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to buy the flow cytometry unit of ReaMetrix India. Bangalore-based ReaMetrix has CE mark approval for its reagents used in in vitro diagnostics, but the company has yet to obtain FDA approval for the products. The deal is expected to expand Beckman's footprint in the flow cytometry segment.
