Biofuels-manufacturing program debuts at Ill. college

Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Ill., is launching a two-year associate's degree program in biofuels-manufacturing technology in the coming school year. It is the only academic program in Illinois in which students can get hands-on training in biofuel production. "There's just tremendous growth" in the industry, "and they're good-paying jobs," said Chuck Young, a professor in the program.
