Ga. middle school welcomes students to new STEM academy

North Hall Middle School in Gainesville, Ga., held an open house for students and parents who will be part of the new Earhart-Edison Exploration Academy, a school within a school that will focus on project-based learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. STEM topics will be integrated into all classes, and by the time students complete middle school, they could have eight to 10 high-school credits.
