Greater patient satisfaction, loyalty seen with EMR use

An Aeffect and 88 Brand Partners survey found 78% of patients using EMRs reported being satisfied with their health care providers, compared with 68% of nonusers. EMR users also expressed greater loyalty to physicians and higher satisfaction on other metrics such as ease of information access and thoroughness and clarity of communication, researchers noted.
