Mostashari plans to leave the ONC this fall

Dr. Farzad Mostashari will be leaving his role as ONC chief this fall after two years in the job, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced. "During this time of great accomplishment, Farzad has been an important adviser to me and many of us across the department. His expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to innovation and health IT will surely be missed," Sebelius said. Mostashari will remain on the job while the search for his replacement takes place.
