Pa. site owner still awaits Shell's decision on planned ethane cracker

The owner of the Beaver County, Pa., site that Royal Dutch Shell is assessing for its planned ethane cracker remains cautiously optimistic about the project's possibility. Horsehead Holding CEO Jim Hensler expressed confidence about the possibility, saying, "We think that's a very likely outcome." However, that may be "an overstatement," as Shell has yet to provide any confirmation or decision, said Horsehead spokesman Ali Alavi.
