Stumptown Coffee Roasters, which sold a majority stake to private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners in 2011, has been building distribution and adding cafes. “I think what we’re seeing is there’s a lot of momentum that’s very closely aligned with what you see with local, seasonal, specialty food,” said Matt Lounsbury, director of operations. "Coffee comes right on the heels of that."
