Surgeons share what they learned by treating Boston bombing victims

Surgeons write in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery about the surgical resources needed at Brigham and Women's Hospital to treat the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Plastic, orthopedic, trauma and vascular surgeons worked together to treat the victims, in the process creating a model that can be used for other mass-casualty events, the authors write.
