Walgreens superstores aim to be more than a traditional pharmacy

Walgreens' new 26,000-square-foot, three-story superstore opened in Philadelphia last month is one of 11 national flagships that include upscale designs, food courts and trained beauty consultants. The new concept is part of Walgreens' quest to win back pharmacy customers with expanded offerings likely to bring them into the store more often.
