2 studies forecast opposite effects of Australia's renewables goal

Two studies on the costs of Australia's renewable energy goal of 20% by 2020 have arrived at conflicting conclusions. ACIL Allen says household power bills will increase until 2020 but decline after that, while Deloitte sees continued increases after 2020. The latter study assumes that wind power costs will not decline over time and that the price of gas for gas-powered generators will not rise much.
