Survey Finds Minimal Pay Advantage For Principals

The average daily pay for principals is not much higher than that of experienced teachers, according to a report by the Educational Research Service. "There are clear disincentives to make the move from classroom teaching to administration," said Vincent L. Ferrandino, executive director of the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
