Wal-Mart takes No. 2 slot in consumer-electronics sales

Wal-Mart Stores sold $22.6 billion worth of consumer electronics in the U.S. in 2006, making it the No. 2 CE retailer. Besides its low-price strategy, Wal-Mart has increased the number of products it carries, although analysts say the company cannot compete when it comes to technical assistance.
