Gulf production resuming after Edouard

Only 53 of the 1,717 petroleum production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico remained shut down Wednesday in the wake of Tropical Storm Edouard. Workers were returning to the evacuated platforms, most of which were off the western coast of Louisiana and the eastern coast of Texas.
