Diabetic women have poorer cardiovascular risk factor control

Diabetic women, especially blacks and Hispanics, tend to have poorer cardiovascular risk profiles than diabetic men, according to a new study. Data showed women were 9% less likely than men to get their LDL cholesterol levels under 130 mg/dL and 9% less likely to keep their blood pressure below 130 mmHg.
