TV-show promoters adapt to new critics

The advent of social media is changing the way television shows are covered, writes Mark Glaser. Print TV critics used to hold stories for months before publication, but bloggers typically want to post as quickly as possible. As a result, the TV Critics Association press tour was delayed until August this year, so that the buzz from the annual event would come closer to the start of the 2009 television season.
