Social engineering remains a security-breach concern

Social engineering, which is used by hackers to get users to provide confidential details related to PC use and network access, illustrates that good security starts with users, industry watchers say. During a security competition at the Defcon hacker conference, Oracle employees were found to be the weakest in terms of security protection, as employees provided the most data during a social-engineering exercise.
