Embraer forecasts more demand as Q2 profit decreases

Although Embraer had 10 cancellations in the second quarter, CEO Frederico Curado says mainline carriers in the U.S. will show more demand in the near future. Net profit in the second quarter reached $54.3 million, down from $96.4 million a year ago; it was affected by the 11% increase in the U.S. dollar during the quarter.
