Facebook promises better explanations for marketers

As Facebook changes rules governing news-feed appearances, the company promised it will give marketers more information on processes included in its display algorithm. Facebook said it will post updates on its Facebook for Business blog, starting with an explanation of its EdgeRank system that adjusts a news feed based on metrics such as post popularity and the relationship between the poster and viewer.
