InstaGIS to release paid version for marketers

Location services startup InstaGIS will release a paid version of its free neighborhood demographics mapping software to marketers looking for insight into where to open their next stores or target customers. The paid program will be available for $2,000 per month and incorporates government and social networking data. Users can create real-time heat maps of neighborhoods that show income level, race, traffic or crime information, among other data sets.
