Intel looks beyond PCs with "Bay Trail" processors

Intel is developing an embedded version of its low-power Atom "Bay Trail" processors to go into automotive electronics, robots, set-top boxes and other non-PC applications, Agam Shah writes. A session at the Intel Developer Forum in September will be devoted to "embedded intelligent systems" with the "Bay Trail-I" processor, he notes.
