Korean political tensions lead to more investment in U.S. real estate

Rising tensions between South and North Korea are having the indirect effect of South Korea investing in U.S. real estate. Investors are worried about conflict in the region and are moving their capital to assets outside of the region, including the U.S. South Koreans have already spent $5.4 billion this year on global real estate, more than double what they invested in all of 2012.
