Microsoft stores to show off 3D printing capabilities

Select Microsoft retail stores in the U.S. will add MakerBot Replicator 2 desktop 3D printers and hold demonstrations to show shoppers how they work. Microsoft joins other retailers venturing into the 3D printing business, including Staples, which has already added 3D printers to its inventory, Amazon, which sells some online, and UPS stores in San Diego, which recently began testing a full design-to-print service.
