Mobile is merging with traditional TV viewing

Services such as Hulu and HBO Go show how mobile is accounting for an ever larger portion of consumers' TV viewing, Chantal Tode writes. In addition, networks are offering more live broadcasts, and mobile is increasingly integrated with traditional TV viewing, as evidenced by the introduction of Google's Chromecast. "The future of TV is starting to look very mobile," Rhythm NewMedia's Eugene Youn said. "The future of TV is very intertwined with the future of mobile. Once brands can figure out how to sync messaging across the TV experience to the mobile experience, that's when things will start to get interesting."
