Small, midsize businesses have differing views about economy

Small businesses in the U.S. are more confident about the national economy's prospects than their own operations, according to a survey by the National Small Business Association. But it appears that executives at midsize companies are more optimistic about local economies than national and global economies, a National Center for the Middle Market survey shows.
