"The dog at my homework" will no longer fly under new high-tech program

Parents in a district near Edmonton, Canada, soon will be able to track their children's homework, attendance and grades via the Internet. Students say the proposal violates their privacy, and critics are concerned the onus for keeping tabs on schoolwork will shift from students to parents.
