Early intervention for ESL students

Mindful that under NCLB rules, ESL students must take state tests in their first year, a Raleigh, N.C., elementary school has jump-started its assistance to children with limited English skills through a summer camp. The weeklong camp, part of a federal grant, is helping children get acclimated to their teachers and classmates before school starts.
