Givaudan reduces salt, sugar to increase flavor sales

In response to increasing evidence that high salt intake contributes to a greater risk of cardiovascular disease, Givaudan is conducting research to reduce salt, as well as sugar, in its flavors. The company is looking to increase its growth in the flavor market, which slowed somewhat in the second quarter.
