Investors think like lizards ... or rats ... or some such unattractive member of the animal kingdom, according to some experts who presumably think more like, well, experts. In his book, "Mean Markets & Lizard Brains," former Goldman trader Terry Burnham lists some rules to restrain our natural instincts in order to make money, including: don't trade emotionally; never trust anyone, not even yourself; and losers average losers.
