Calif. schools look to train biotech lab workers with $31M

Two California higher education systems planned to appear before the state's stem cell research institute to request $31 million for a statewide training program for lab workers. The California State University and Community College systems seek to develop a program to train new lab workers needed as efforts in stem cell research gear up around the state.
