Virtually every college student in the U.S. uses the Internet -- eMarketer estimates that 95% of college students will go online at least once a month. No other large demographic group has such a high penetration. This translates to 17.1 million U.S. college Internet users as of 2007, rising to 18.5 million in 2011. But marketers will be challenged to get the attention of these proficient multitaskers.
