DOT: 40% say in-flight cell phone use should be allowed

While Americans age 65 and older are more likely to oppose the use of cell phones on flights, nearly 40% of Americans think they should be allowed, according to a special report from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. About 45% said cell phones definitely or probably should not be used on airplanes, while 15% said they are unsure.
